The municipal company INMUVISA approves the tender to acquire a high-capacity street sweeper for €290,000, under a renting scheme with an option to buy.
The Board of Directors of INMUVISA, the municipal housing and land company of Lebrija, approved last Friday, July 31, the file to contract the supply of a new street sweeper. The machine, which will join the city's cleaning vehicle fleet, has an estimated value of €290,000 (VAT not included) and will be financed through renting with an option to buy.
The new vehicle will incorporate a mixed system of dragging and suction, as well as state-of-the-art technology, with the aim of optimizing street cleaning and the collection of urban solid waste (USW) provided by the public company. The acquisition responds to the need to renew and modernize the material resources of the service, municipal sources explained.
The contract, which includes preventive maintenance of the vehicle, establishes a maximum delivery period of five months from its formalization. The new street sweeper must meet the environmental and emission standards set out in current regulations, a requirement that has been included in the technical specifications.
In the same session, the Board of Directors approved the administrative and technical clauses that will govern the procedure, as well as the publication of the tender announcement in the Contractor Profile, on the Public Sector Contracting Platform, and in the Official Journal of the European Union. Interested companies will have one month to submit their bids.
The arrival of this new street sweeper will provide direct support to the street cleaning service in Lebrija, which will be able to rely on more efficient machinery adapted to the current needs of the city. Residents will notice an improvement in the performance of sweeping tasks, especially in the busier areas.
The municipal company continues with its equipment renewal plan, which in recent years has been incorporating new vehicles and tools to enhance the quality of public services in the Sevillian municipality.
