Several traffic accidents and a breakdown are causing delays and lane closures on the main accesses to Sevilla this Monday morning, according to the DGT.

The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) has activated a yellow traffic alert on the AP-4, near Dos Hermanas, following an accident that occurred around 10:21 AM affecting all lanes between kilometres 15.3 and 16, towards Sevilla. This incident adds to a vehicle stopped at kilometre 13.9 of the same motorway, which has kept the right lane closed since 10:16 AM. Drivers approaching from the south are facing delays that exceed two kilometres in some sections.

Delays on the A-4 and a lane closed

The situation is also complicated on the A-4, where another accident is causing slow traffic between kilometres 559 and 554.5, towards Sevilla, since 9:45 AM. The right lane remains closed at kilometre 554.5 due to the incident. Additionally, another vehicle stopped at kilometre 551.5 has kept the right lane closed since 8:19 AM, worsening the difficulties for drivers accessing from Dos Hermanas and the Los Alcores area.

The A-49 also affected by a breakdown

In the Aljarafe, the A-49 is experiencing slow traffic due to congestion between kilometres 6 and 1, from Bormujos to Camas, heading towards Sevilla, due to a vehicle breakdown near Camas. Residents of towns such as Tomares, San Juan de Aznalfarache, or Mairena del Aljarafe heading to the capital should expect significant delays, especially during morning rush hour. The DGT recommends exercising extreme caution, reducing speed when approaching affected areas, and checking traffic conditions before starting the journey to Sevilla.
