The Dos Hermanas City Council has enabled a new parking area on Los Adaines Street, in the Los Montecillos neighbourhood, with 30 additional spaces.
The Dos Hermanas City Council has completed and opened a new parking area in the Los Montecillos neighbourhood, on Los Adaines Street. This initiative responds to a community demand to utilise an unused space and expand parking options in the area.
The works have added 30 parking spaces to those already existing on the street, following a comprehensive intervention that included the adaptation of vehicle access, surface paving, and the adjustment of the drainage network for rainwater evacuation. The signage and delineation of parking spaces and pedestrian pathways have also been renewed.
The new area includes reserved spaces for people with reduced mobility, as well as vertical signage, bollards, and improvements to public lighting. The aim, according to the City Council, is to enhance accessibility, safety, and functionality of the environment.
With this opening, the City Council continues its improvement plan in various neighbourhoods of Dos Hermanas, responding to citizen requests and making use of spaces that were underutilised.
