The Municipal Centre for Women's Information in Mairena del Alcor will open online registration for the 2026-2027 workshops on September 15, which include healthy gymnastics, pilates, yoga, and hiking, as well as the cultural visit circuit "Get to Know Your Land".
The Equality Delegation of the Mairena del Alcor City Council, through the Municipal Centre for Women's Information (CIM), has presented the programme of workshops and activities for the 2026-2027 academic year. The offer combines physical and mental health, training in equality, and a calendar of excursions through Andalusian heritage.
The permanent workshops will start on October 1, 2026. The list includes healthy gymnastics, pilates, yoga, chikung, and meditation, tai chi, high-intensity training, and hiking. Additionally, there are two specific proposals: an exercise and relaxation workshop for women who have undergone mastectomy and a lace-making workshop.
Online registrations will open from September 15 to 25, 2026 starting at 10:00 AM, via the Sporttia app and website. In-person registration will be available from September 21. Any remaining spots will remain accessible throughout the academic year.
The cultural visits programme “Get to Know Your Land 2026” proposes eight outings of one or half a day. The calendar begins on May 22 with Alcalá de los Gazules (Cádiz), continues on May 30 with a route through the capital of Seville dedicated to San Fernando and the Reconquista, and on June 20 travels to Martos (Jaén).
On July 4, the proposal is a night tour of Seville, departing from Sanlúcar la Mayor. In autumn, on September 26, the destination is Aguilar de la Frontera (Córdoba); on October 24, Álora and the Caminito del Rey (Málaga); on November 21, Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), and on December 17, La Palma del Condado (Huelva).
Starting in 2027, it will be time for monographic and equality workshops: personal empowerment, shared responsibility at home, responsible masculinities, participatory radio, co-education, and days on associationism and the visibility of women with disabilities or migrants. Pre-registration for these activities will open on November 3, 2026.
The Mairena del Alcor City Council has published the documents with the complete programme, the visit brochure, registration instructions, and the application form on its website. Interested individuals can consult them to prepare their registration before the online registration period begins.
