Rodríguez, affiliated with ONCE since 1996 due to her severe visual impairment, sold the series of the winning number with 500,000 euros, the largest prize from the draws held from Monday to Thursday. Additionally, she sold another 19 coupons worth 35,000 euros each, totalling the remaining 665,000 euros.
A call that changed the night
The seller received the news at night when a customer called to inform her of the prize. "At first, I couldn't believe it," confessed Estrella Rodríguez, who then verified it and received the news with great emotion. "I can finally retire peacefully after 30 years," she said with laughter.
The atmosphere on Mairena Street was one of congratulations and joy this morning. The bar's customers and local residents couldn't stop discussing the stroke of luck, which comes as a breath of fresh air for many in the middle of summer.
A prize that eases the wallet in summer
The seller highlighted that the money arrives at a crucial moment: "In summer, it can help many people cope with holidays, expenses, or personal projects." The prize, corresponding to the draw on July 13, dedicated to the pirate landing of Premià de Mar (Barcelona), distributed a total of 2,075,000 euros among four Andalusian provinces.
Besides Alcalá, the draw left 700,000 euros in Antequera (Málaga), and 70,000 euros in Cádiz, Málaga, and La Palma del Condado (Huelva). But the biggest share went to the Sevillian town, which has become the big winner of the day.

ONCE does not stop. For this Tuesday, the Eurojackpot offers a jackpot of 40 million euros, a European draw marketed in Spain through ONCE alongside 18 other countries.
