The Alcalá de Guadaíra Town Hall will install a new children's play area in the plaza next to the Antonio Medina de Haro Civic Centre, responding to residents' requests.
The Alcalá de Guadaíra Town Hall, through the Urban Habitat delegation, has announced the installation of a new children's play area in the plaza adjacent to the Antonio Medina de Haro Civic Centre. The initiative responds to the demands of local residents, as noted by municipal delegate David Delgado.
The works will include the installation of new play equipment, continuous rubber safety flooring, the installation of informative signs, and perimeter fencing for the safety area. This was detailed by Delgado himself, who emphasised that all interventions comply with current regulations and use approved materials to ensure the highest levels of safety.
The delegate has defended the importance of such infrastructures, as children's play areas promote the learning of motor and social skills for the little ones, in addition to providing a controlled environment for their leisure and development. "They have become essential infrastructures for autonomy and enjoyment of activities in a safe environment," he added.
This initiative is part of the municipal policy to improve public spaces in Alcalá de Guadaíra, which has been renewing and expanding recreational areas in various neighbourhoods. With this new area, it is expected to address a long-standing community demand.
The works are expected to begin in the coming weeks, although the Town Hall has not specified a concrete date for their completion. Local residents will be able to enjoy the new area once the works are finished.
