The Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council allocates €77,500 for grants for Culture, Heritage and Museum, and for Natural Monument, Environment and Sustainability. The deadline for submitting applications is 15 days from this September 15.
The grant calls for Culture, Heritage and Museum and Natural Monument, Environment and Sustainability in Alcalá de Guadaíra for 2026 are now open. The City Council published both on September 15 in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Seville (BOP), with a total allocation of €77,500.
The deadline for submitting applications is 15 days from the publication in the BOP. Associations, groups, companies, and professionals from the municipality can apply, provided they submit a project with the planned actions and its budget. The allocation will be resolved on a competitive basis.
The delegate for the Area of Identity, Christopher Rivas, has encouraged local entities to participate. “We want these grants to support initiatives that arise from the Alcalá society itself,” he stated. In his opinion, “there are associations, professionals, and companies capable of contributing interesting projects to the culture and environment of our city, and we want to facilitate the realization of those ideas.”
“Alcalá has a very broad and diverse cultural fabric. The culture of the city is not built exclusively from municipal programming, but also thanks to the work carried out throughout the year by associations, artists, groups, and professionals.”
The Culture, Heritage and Museum call has €40,000: €28,000 for associations and non-profit organizations and €12,000 for companies and professionals. It will subsidize musical events and festivals, theatrical and cinematic activities, exhibitions, heritage projects, flamenco, meetings, days, publications, workshops, restorations, websites, guides, and documentaries, among others.
The second call, focused on the Natural Monument, the environment, and sustainability, has €37,500: €27,500 for associations and non-profit entities and €10,000 for companies and professionals. It will finance awareness days, workshops, and conferences, initiatives against climate change such as clean energy or tree planting, cleaning campaigns, improvements in parks and green areas, and publications or informative guides.
Rivas emphasized the importance of citizen involvement: “We want to increasingly engage society in caring for Alcalá. The improvement of our natural and urban spaces and the fight against climate change also require the participation, ideas, and commitment of associations, companies, and citizens.”
“What’s important now is that the information reaches those who can benefit from these grants. We want participation, projects, and good initiatives that will impact Alcalá.”
