The Equality Centre of Alcalá de Guadaíra resumes after the summer the 'Full Equality that Transforms' programme with free and open activities. The first workshop will be on 23rd September about the prevention of gender violence and promoting good treatment.
The Equality Centre of the Alcalá de Guadaíra Town Hall is bringing back this autumn the activities of the 'Full Equality that Transforms' programme, which had been interrupted during the summer season. The initiative, which is free and open to all citizens, focuses its new programming on the prevention of gender violence.
The Equality delegate, Abril Castillo Sarmiento, explained that this cycle takes place in the municipal building that coordinates the equality policies of the locality and serves as a meeting point for associations and groups. The councillor noted that the programme complements other activities already functioning at the centre, such as self-care, education in values, and shared responsibility.

The next immediate event will take place on wednesday 23rd September, from 18:00 to 20:00 hours, with the workshop titled 'Prevention of Gender Violence and Promotion of Good Treatment'. According to the delegate, it is a meeting to learn and share strategies that promote relationships based on equality and respect, as well as to reflect on how to build a more equal society.
The programme includes a second highlighted event on wednesday 25th November, coinciding with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. On that day, the workshop 'What is not seen is also violence' will be held from 17:00 to 19:00 hours. Both activities are open and free to participate in, with no prior registration required.
Since its launch in April, the programme has offered conferences, workshops, and meetings on self-care, emotional management, sisterhood, education in values, and shared responsibility, among other topics. The initiative now aims to focus on the prevention of male violence and the promotion of good treatment in the local area.
The workshops are held at the Equality Centre, a municipal space that regularly hosts proposals coordinated with educational centres and community groups. Interested individuals can directly attend the scheduled sessions without prior procedure.
