The Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council has scheduled visits to the Harinera, river routes, workshops at the Museum, and kayaking from 5 euros on September 27.

The programme for World Tourism Day in Alcalá de Guadaíra includes six free activities and one paid activity, all on September 27, to showcase the municipality's natural, historical, and cultural heritage. This was presented by the Tourism delegate, Christopher Rivas, who emphasised that these initiatives aim to connect residents with the history and landscapes of the city.

The activities will start at 10:30 am at various locations. The Harinera del Guadaíra will open its doors with guided tours at 10:30 and 11:30 to explain the local baking tradition. At the same time, the Guadaíra Riverbank will host interpretative routes at 10:30 and 11:30 focused on the natural and scenic value of the surroundings.

The City Museum will offer children's workshops and visits at 10:30 and 12:00, while the Castle will schedule theatrical visits at 10:30 and 12:30 to discover its monumental complex in a different way.

The only paid activity is the kayaking, which will depart from the Active Tourism Centre starting at 10:30 for 5 euros. Reservations are managed directly with the company Riverízate.

“This is key to highlighting the importance of Tourism in our city, and the activities allow us to showcase our heritage, cultural and natural wealth through experiences that connect people with our history, legacy, and landscapes.”

Those interested can check schedules and details on the municipal tourism channels. The event is concentrated on a single date, September 27, with limited places in some activities, so it is recommended to inquire in advance.
