The Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council opens the application period for grants for the digitalisation and competitiveness of SMEs and freelancers this Monday, September 14. The call, which has three lines of aid, closes on October 13 and in the previous edition, 138 beneficiaries were awarded.
SMEs and freelancers in Alcalá de Guadaíra now have a new call for grants to modernise their businesses from this Monday, September 14. The application period will remain open until October 13, as reported by the Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council through the Delegation of Economic Development and Industry.
The call is structured into three lines of aid. Line 1 is aimed at SMEs and micro-enterprises that want to incorporate Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) or boost e-commerce. It covers up to 70% of the project, with a cap of 3,000 euros per application.
Line 2 focuses on commerce. It finances improvements in the establishment's image, works in customer service premises, communication or marketing campaigns, with coverage of up to 50% and a maximum of 5,000 euros per project.
Line 3 supports projects linked to Industry 4.0 for local SMEs, with grants of up to 60%. The council includes here the acquisition of technical equipment, infrastructure and technology, cybersecurity solutions, cloud, Big Data or artificial intelligence, as well as new customer service channels, process automation or staff training.

This was expressed by the head of Commerce, Pablo Chain, while the Employment delegate, Paula Fuster, detailed the three subsidisable lines. The call is coordinated by the Area of Development and Strategic Planning, led by Jesús Mora.
The processing is done through the municipal electronic headquarters. In the previous edition, these grants reached a total of 138 beneficiaries. Interested parties have until October 13 to submit their applications.
