The Sevillian municipality of Lebrija has received 2.56 million euros thanks to 64 tickets from the ONCE Cuponazo, each worth 40,000 euros.
The Sevillian town of Lebrija has been the protagonist of a collective stroke of luck. Last Friday, 28th August, the ONCE Cuponazo brought a total of 2.56 million euros to the municipality, distributed among 64 tickets winning the first prize of 40,000 euros each.
The winning number was 67,125. All the winning tickets were sold by Joaquín Cordero Rodríguez, a seller for ONCE in Lebrija, who operates at two usual spots: number 14 in Plaza de España and Ronda de la Mina, next to the Dia supermarket.
Cordero himself explained that the prizes have reached a good number of his regular customers, although he does not know exactly how many different people purchased the 64 winning tickets, as some of them were shared.

The mayor of Lebrija, Pepe Barroso, accompanied by the Communication delegate, Juan Antonio Romero, welcomed the seller to congratulate him personally. Barroso highlighted that the prize comes at a special moment, just before the Local Fair and Patron Festivities, and adds extra joy for many families.

The news arrives in the midst of the countdown to the town's festivities, which this year will include an extra celebration for the winners. The prizes are already available for collection at the ONCE offices from the same day of the draw.
