The Palomares del Río Fair begins with the traditional Fish Dinner on Wednesday, September 2 at the Municipal Pavilion. The menu, at €32 per person, includes Iberian ham, white prawns from Huelva, and pork loin in whisky.
The Palomares del Río Town Hall has organised the Fish Dinner, which will take place on Wednesday, September 2 at 21:30 at the Municipal Pavilion, as the starting signal for the Palomares Fair 2026.
The menu, designed for sharing, includes for every 4 people: iberian ham and aged cheese, Los Palacios tomatoes with mackerel, homemade croquettes, various fried dishes of cuttlefish and marinated fish, and white prawns from Huelva. As an individual dish, pork loin in whisky will be served, and for dessert, mini frozen cups.
Beverages are included: soft drinks, water, red wine, manzanilla, and beer. The price is €32 per person.
Registrations can be formalised at the main building of the Town Hall, from 9:00 to 14:00, until September 2 at 12:00.
This gastronomic event has become one of the most anticipated by locals to whet their appetites before the main part of the Fair, which will be held in the coming weeks. Spaces are limited, so the council recommends booking in advance.
