The mayor, Pepe Barroso, and the delegate for Festivals, Alberto Pérez, have supervised the work at the Fairground. The event will take place from September 9 to 12, with the lighting on the 8th.

The Town Hall of Lebrija is in the final stretch of preparations for the Fair and Patronal Festivals 2026, which will be held from September 9 to 12 at the Fairground. The mayor, Pepe Barroso, and the delegate for Festivals, Alberto Pérez, visited the venue on Monday to check the status of the setup and the conditioning of the various spaces.

During the tour, both officials oversaw the work being carried out to ensure the venue is ready before the festivities begin. The programme will kick off on Tuesday, September 8, with the traditional lighting of the Fairground.

“We are already in the final stretch of preparations. These are busy days to ensure that when the moment comes to turn on the lights, everything is ready and we can enjoy our Fair as it deserves,” stated Pepe Barroso, who thanked the work of all the people, companies, and municipal services involved, especially the delegation for Festivals and Citizen Participation.

The delegate for Festivals, Alberto Pérez, explained that the work is progressing according to the planned schedule and highlighted the necessary coordination to prepare the Fairground and the spaces that will host the scheduled activities.

The inaugural day on September 8 will begin at 21:30 with a performance by Tutumbao at the entrance, as a prelude to the official lighting, scheduled for 22:00, which will include a fireworks display. Afterwards, the mayor and the delegate for Festivals will greet attendees at the Municipal Tent, where the night will continue with performances by Francis Alcántara and J. Díaz DJ.

The Municipal Tent will once again be one of the main meeting points, with a programme that combines music, humour, DJ sessions, and offerings for all ages. Among the scheduled artists are Raquel Zapico, El Morta, Tribute to Los Rebujitos, Crix DJ, Mojinos Escozíos, Manu Moreno DJ, La Corredera, DJs LosSpicy, Fran Parra DJ, Los Pitijopos, Marisol Bizcocho, and Romerito DJ.

As a new feature, the traditional train service will have two lines this year to reduce waiting times and facilitate attendees' movements and return home. The horse and carriage parade will take place between 12:00 and 20:00 during the Fair days along the authorised streets of the Fairground.

The programme pays special attention to children and accessibility. On Wednesday, September 9, the Children's Day will be celebrated, with special prices for the attractions. Additionally, between 17:00 and 19:00, a music-free period will be established in the amusement park to encourage participation from people with special sensitivity to noise.

Another new feature this year is the children's fire bulls, which will take place on September 9 at 21:00 in the Plaza del Pajarete. Parades and family proposals are also scheduled for Thursday and Friday.

The main day will be dedicated to the Patroness of Lebrija, Our Lady of the Crowned Castle, with the traditional Main Function at 11:00 in the parish of Our Lady of the Olive and the processional outing at 19:00.

The Fair services will be concentrated at the CECOP, located in the old Municipal Tent on Avenida de Andalucía, where Local Police, Guardia Civil, Firefighters, Civil Protection, medical and veterinary services, as well as public toilets and a nursing room will be present.

The traditional Tribute Dinner for the Elderly will take place on September 9 at 21:00 in the Municipal Tent. In this edition, the Town Hall has aimed to highlight the carnation, a symbol of Lebrija: as part of a campaign to support local floriculturists, 20,000 carnations will be distributed during the Fair.
