The Las Cabezas de San Juan Town Hall will launch a general rat and insect control campaign throughout the municipality and its districts next Tuesday, 28 July, following the accumulation of rubbish due to the strike.
The Las Cabezas de San Juan Town Hall has announced an extraordinary rat and insect control campaign that will begin next Tuesday, 28 July. This measure responds to the accumulation of waste recorded in recent weeks as a result of a strike, which has increased the risk of pest proliferation in the municipality.
The work, which will be carried out progressively by districts, will cover the entire municipal area, including the districts of San Leandro, Vetaherrado, and Sacramento. The aim is to reinforce public health and improve hygiene conditions in the streets and public spaces.
The schedule of actions is set to start with District 3, which includes the area from Avenida Miguel Hernández to Avenida Doctor Fleming. This will be followed by District 1 (Central Zone), District 5 (Avenida Jesús Nazareno – Barriada de La Paz), District 2 (Avenida Doctor Fleming – Avenida Jesús Nazareno), District 4 (Barriada de La Paz – Avenida Miguel Hernández), and finally, District 6, which includes the districts.
The Town Hall has requested the cooperation of residents during the execution of the treatments, as they may cause temporary inconveniences. However, they insist that this is a necessary intervention to ensure the effectiveness of pest control and maintain a healthy environment.
The accumulation of rubbish during the strike has created a conducive environment for the appearance of rodents and insects, which has prompted this emergency action. The Town Hall reminds citizens that public involvement is key to preserving the cleanliness of public spaces.
Residents of Las Cabezas de San Juan will be able to consult the detailed schedule on the municipality's official channels. It is recommended to keep windows closed during fumigation and to remove objects from public areas to facilitate the work.
