The Osuna Town Council will invest 200,000 euros to repair and resurface several streets damaged by February's storms. The works, funded by the Diputación, include new signage.

The Osuna Town Council will carry out a repair and resurfacing project on several of the main streets in the municipality, as announced by the first deputy mayor, Brígida Pachón. The action, with a budget of 200,000 euros, will be financed through the Provincial Plan for Cooperation in Works and Services of the Sevilla Diputación.

The aim is to repair the damage caused by the storms recorded last February and improve the condition of the road surface. The work will not only include resurfacing but also the renewal of horizontal signage, with the painting of road markings, so that the streets are fully prepared.

The works will focus on the roads with the highest traffic volume in the municipality, enhancing safety and comfort for both drivers and pedestrians. The expected execution period is 5 months.

Brígida Pachón has highlighted that this is an important investment for the maintenance of the local road network. With this intervention, the council aims for the affected streets to offer optimal conditions for traffic once the works are completed.

This action is part of the provincial cooperation plan, which allows Sevilla municipalities to undertake improvements in basic infrastructure. Residents of the affected streets will notice improvements in the comfort and safety of daily transit.
