The Town Hall of Tomares continues the outdoor screenings at the Patio de las Buganvillas in the Hacienda Santa Ana. Following the success of 'Ne Zha 2', the August programme offers three premieres for the whole family.

The summer cinema in Tomares kicked off its August schedule with an inaugural session that filled the Patio de las Buganvillas. The chosen film was 'Ne Zha 2', one of the highest-grossing animated titles of the year, according to the Town Hall.

Screenings are held every Tuesday at 22:00 in the Hacienda Santa Ana, the seat of the Town Hall. The cycle will continue on August 11 with 'Superman', on August 18 with 'Mission Impossible: Final Judgement', and will close the month on August 25 with 'Sketch'.

Entry is free until capacity is reached, and the venue will have a snack bar with soft drinks, tapas, and popcorn. The Town Hall invites families to take advantage of these summer nights to enjoy cinema under the stars.

This initiative revives the tradition of the historic 'Cinema Tomares', which operated on Navarro Caro Street from 1964 to 2024. The venue, founded by Rafael Cansino Vega and later directed by his son, Rafael Cansino Pérez, screened films for 60 years. Last summer, the Hacienda Santa Ana became the new home for this custom, which has already offered titles like 'How to Train Your Dragon' and 'Jurassic World: The Rebirth' in July.

The Patio de las Buganvillas is an outdoor setting that aims to recapture the charm of the old summer cinemas. The next event will be on Tuesday, August 11 with the screening of 'Superman'.
