The Town Hall of Tomares opened the registration period on Monday, September 7, for the 16 Municipal Cultural Workshops for the 2026-2027 season, with activities for adults, children, and young people.

The Town Hall of Tomares has launched the programme for the Municipal Cultural Workshops (TMC) for the 2026-2027 season, with registration opening on Monday, September 7 and remaining active until all places in each workshop are filled.

In total, there are 16 workshops designed for all tastes and ages. Classes will begin on Thursday, October 1, with offerings divided between 11 workshops for adults and 5 for children and young people.

Among the options for adults are Latin dances, flamenco dancing, sevillanas, flamenco singing, flamenco guitar, fashion: design and creation, painting, furniture restoration, urban dance, theatre, and French at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels.

For the little ones and young people, the offerings include urban dance, classical dance, painting, theatre, and flamenco guitar, the latter starting from 8 years.

Additionally, the council continues to offer other free activities such as film forums, with a weekly film; the reading club, with complementary cultural visits; the photography course at beginner, advanced, and digital editing levels, which will be held in the second and fourth weeks of each month; and storytime at the library, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 17:00 to 18:00, to encourage reading among children.

The traditional monographic workshop for making flamenco dresses will also continue, taking place in February and April, so that local women can prepare their own gypsy dress for the Fair.

Applications for places must be submitted in person at the Citizen Service (SAC) of the Town Hall of Tomares, with an appointment required. The service hours are from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 14:00, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 16:30 to 19:00.

Appointments can be requested directly at the SAC or through the municipal website www.tomares.es, via the citizen service appointment link. There is no deadline for registration, as long as there are available places.

For more information, interested parties can write to cultura@tomares.es. The Town Hall reminds that the complete magazine with all the workshops is available in PDF format on the municipal website.
