The Town Hall of Tomares is celebrating the second edition of its International Blues Festival on September 18 and 19, with Californian Tia Carroll as the headliner and a lineup that includes Quique Gómez, Lluís Coloma, and Santos Puertas, among others.
The II International Blues Festival of Tomares will take place on September 18 and 19 with a new feature: it has been expanded to two days. The organisation is managed by the Town Hall of Tomares and the Casa del Blues de Sevilla, aiming to replicate last year's success by offering a more complete experience for fans.
The event will kick off on Friday, September 18 at the Patio de las Buganvillas with a Master Class led by Santos Puertas at 8:00 PM. Afterwards, at 9:30 PM, a cocktail will be served with free beer, wine, and soft drinks, designed for interaction between musicians and the audience. The night will continue with a concert by Santos Puertas at 10:30 PM and an open Jam Session for anyone wishing to take the stage.
The highlight will arrive on Saturday, September 19 at the Jardines del Conde of the Hacienda Santa Ana, the Town Hall's headquarters, starting at 12:30 PM. The international star will be Californian Tia Carroll, who will perform at 12:00 AM. Born in Richmond (California) in 1958, Carroll has accompanied legends such as Ray Charles, B.B. King, and Patti LaBelle, and her latest album, “You gotta have it” (2021), was nominated for the Blues Music Awards in Memphis.
The Saturday lineup is completed by performances from Lightning Band (1:00 PM), La Manso & Blues Sapiens (2:00 PM), Slowhand, a tribute to Eric Clapton (3:00 PM), Santos Puertas (4:00 PM), Quique Gómez & His Vipers (6:00 PM), Q & The Moonstones (8:00 PM), and Lluís Coloma Trío & Kid Carlos (10:00 PM).
