More than 50 young people from Gines travelled to Punta Umbría beach on Wednesday for a free activity called 'Operación Furor', organised by the Town Hall.
A group of over fifty young people from Gines headed to Punta Umbría beach (Huelva) on Wednesday as part of a new initiative by the municipal Youth delegation within its summer programme 'Operación Furor'.
Under the title 'Young People in the Sun: Destination Punta Umbría', the participants will enjoy a full day on the coast completely free of charge, accompanied by friends and in an environment designed for them.
The activity is part of a wide range of summer proposals that the Town Hall of Gines has prepared for the younger residents of the town, aiming to offer a summer full of leisure and socialising alternatives.
The local government highlights that these initiatives seek to promote youth participation and provide healthy options during the holidays, with activities ranging from beach excursions to other recreational and educational events.
The young people departed from Gines early in the morning and will spend the day on the Huelva coast, returning to the town at the end of the day. An opportunity to strengthen ties among neighbours and enjoy the summer at no cost.
