The 'Wednesday Cinema' series in Gines reaches its third event with the screening of 'A Minecraft Movie' this Wednesday, July 22 at 22:30 in Teniente Guillermo Antúnez park. Entry is free.
The Gines council, through its Culture department, has prepared a new session of the popular outdoor cinema series that travels through different spaces in the municipality each summer. This event, part of the 'Wednesday Cinema' series, will take place this Wednesday, July 22 at 22:30 hours in Teniente Guillermo Antúnez Mellado park.
The chosen film is 'A Minecraft Movie', an action-adventure film that brings the universe of the famous video game to the big screen. The session is free and is designed for a family audience, in a natural setting that invites enjoyment of summer nights.
Complete schedule until September
The series does not stop here. The same venue will host the screening of 'How to Train Your Dragon' on July 29, also at 22:30. In August, the sessions will start half an hour earlier and change location: on the 5th, in 'El Cortijuelo' park, 'Mufasa. The Lion King' will be screened at 22:00.
Concejala Dolores Camino park will be the meeting point for two movie nights: on August 12 with 'Snow White' and on August 19 with 'Lilo & Stitch', both at 22:00 hours. To close the summer, Manolo Pérez park will host the last two sessions: 'Elio' on August 26 at 21:30, and 'Bad Guys 2' on September 2 at the same time.
Recommendations for the audience
The organisers remind attendees that, as every year, they should bring their own chair for greater comfort, as all screenings are held outdoors on the grass. Entry is free until capacity is reached, with no prior reservation required.
The 'Wednesday Cinema' series has established itself as one of the most anticipated cultural and leisure proposals of the summer in Gines, bringing cinema to all corners of the municipality for free and in a relaxed atmosphere. A perfect opportunity to enjoy summer nights with family while watching a good film under the stars.
