The second edition of the Reading Club in the Equality area of the Gines Town Hall will kick off on September 30 with a meeting featuring writer Rosario Izquierdo. The event will be held at the Casa Amarilla at 18:00 and entry will be free until full capacity is reached.
The activity, promoted by the municipal delegation of Equality, aims to encourage reading from a gender perspective and bring the works of contemporary female authors closer to the community. On this occasion, attendees will have the opportunity to converse directly with the author about her books and creative process.
Rosario Izquierdo (Huelva) is a sociologist, writer, and coordinator of writing workshops. She debuted with “Diario de campo” and later published the novels “Lejana y rosa” and “El hijo zurdo”, the latter adapted into a series by Movistar Plus and starring María León.
The meeting will serve as a starting point for the upcoming sessions of the club, which will take place throughout the year. Those interested in participating can attend directly on the day of the event or request more information from the Equality delegation at the Gines Town Hall.
