Manolo Pérez Fernández Park, on Pilar Miró Street, hosted a weekend programme featuring musical performances, storytelling, and workshops for all ages organised by the Gines Town Hall.
The Manolo Pérez Fernández Park, located on Pilar Miró Street in Gines, has celebrated its ninth anniversary. To mark the occasion, the Gines Town Hall organised a series of activities last weekend that attracted many visitors to this green space in the municipality.
The programme kicked off on Friday night with a performance by Manuel Compai, who entertained attendees with a repertoire of rumbas, sevillanas, and flamenco pop.
Saturday's events included a special focus on the youngest attendees. Storyteller Juliana Melo presented a storytelling session based on her book 'El sueño de Juan', which was complemented by workshops and games for learning through fun.
In the afternoon, artist Paqui López added a musical touch to the celebration. The Pimpi Kiosko-Bar collaborated in the development of the activities.
With this edition, the anniversary celebration of Manolo Pérez Park has established itself as a regular event in September in Gines, as highlighted by the Town Hall itself.
