Parque Manolo Pérez Fernández in Gines celebrates its 9th anniversary with two days of free activities for all ages. Music, storytelling, and bouncy castles will be the highlights on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19.
The Parque Manolo Pérez Fernández, located on Pilar Miró street in Gines, will blow out the candles for its ninth birthday with a programme of activities spread over Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September. The initiative is organised by the Gines Town Hall and is supported by El Pimpi Kiosko-Bar.
Music will kick off the events on Friday at 23:00 hours with a performance by Manuel Compai, who will review a repertoire of rumbas, sevillanas, and flamenco pop. This will be the starting signal for two days designed for residents of all ages to participate.
On Saturday, the programme will begin at 12:30 hours with a storytelling session led by Juliana Melo, aimed at a young audience. In the afternoon, at 18:30 hours, artist Paqui López will provide the musical note with her voice and guitar.
The little ones will also have a bouncy castle and other surprises prepared for the day, as reported by the Gines council. The Town Hall invites all residents to join this festive event, which has become a staple in the local calendar over time.
The celebration will take place in the park itself, on Pilar Miró street, with free entry for those who wish to attend. Saturday's activities are spread throughout the morning and afternoon, while the musical performance on Friday is reserved for the evening.
