Guillena to host the final event of the Mountain Running School Circuit on October 18

Guillena celebrates the V CxM Ruta del Agua on October 18, the last event of the Sevilla Cup and Interprovincial Cup for school-age competitors.

The Sevillian municipality celebrates the V CxM Ruta del Agua, the final event of the Sevilla Cup and the Interprovincial Cup for school-age competitors. The competition will bring together runners from the baby category to cadets.

The town of Guillena will be the venue on October 18 for the V CxM Ruta del Agua-Guillena, an event that marks the final touch to the 2026 Sevilla School Age Mountain Running Cup and the Western Interprovincial Cup.

The event is organized by the Club de los Hijos del Viento, in collaboration with the Sports Area of the Guillena Town Hall, the Andalusian Mountaineering Federation (FAM), and the Junta de Andalucía. The event is part of the V CxM CADEBA Sevilla Cup, aimed at school-age children.

The circuit includes categories ranging from babies to cadets, including prebenjamines, benjamines, alevines, and infantiles. According to the organizers, the best mountain runners from Andalusia will gather in Guillena.

Registrations can be made through the Tecnocrono platform, via the link provided for the VI Mountain Running Cup for School Age Sevilla 2026.

The Final Phase of the Interprovincial Circuit will take place on November 8 in Cerro Muriano (Córdoba).

“The best mountain runners from Andalusia will gather for this spectacular event, which brings us great excitement every year,” say the organizers.

For families in Guillena and the rest of the province, the day presents an opportunity to see local school athletes competing in the Andalusian mountain circuit, with an event held every season in the municipality.
