The 65th edition of the Festival de Cante Jondo Antonio Mairena will take place on September 5 at the Manuel Mairena Auditorium with a historic lineup.

Mairena del Alcor will host the 65th Gala of the Festival de Cante Jondo Antonio Mairena on September 5, starting at 22:00, at the Municipal Auditorium Manuel Mairena. The event will feature a top-tier lineup led by José Mercé, the dancing of Farruquito, and the voice of La Macanita.

The singing lineup also includes Juan de Mairena and the young talent Rocío Luna, a combination of seasoned artists and emerging talent aiming to keep alive the essence of one of the most respected flamenco festivals. On guitar will be Antonio Higuero, Manuel Valencia, Francisco Gómez, and Benito Bernal.

For the dance, Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya, artistically known as Farruquito, will be accompanied by a group featuring the singing of Ismael de la Rosa “El Bola”, Manuel de la Nina, and Mari Vizárraga, with the guitar of Manuel Valencia and percussion by Paco Vega.

The gala, now in its 65th edition, is presented as one of the most anticipated events in the flamenco calendar in the province of Seville. Tickets are already available through the Giglon platform, as reported by the Mairena del Alcor City Council.
