Morón de la Frontera unveils facilities for the Provincial Consortium of Firefighters, capable of covering 4,000 km² and over 250,000 residents.
The Sevillian municipality of Morón de la Frontera has launched its new Fire Station, an infrastructure that strengthens the emergency response capacity throughout the region. The facility, now operational, becomes a strategic point within the Provincial Consortium of Firefighters.
The new premises will serve more than 29 municipalities in the area, covering an area of 4,000 square kilometres where around 250,000 people reside. This coverage makes Morón a key location for coordinating firefighting and rescue teams.
The station has been designed to provide better working conditions for professionals in the service, with larger spaces adapted to current needs. It also aims to speed up response times and improve service to local residents.
The Morón de la Frontera City Council highlights that this initiative reinforces the commitment to public services and safety. The infrastructure is intended to become a benchmark for other fire stations in the province of Seville.
The opening of these facilities represents another step in modernising the emergency response system of the Provincial Consortium, which continues to expand its network of stations to bring response closer to every corner of the territory. The new Morón station is expected to play a leading role in responding to incidents in the Sierra Sur and the Sevillian Campiña.
