The Town Hall of Montellano opens the call for the XXXV edition of the Painting Competition 'Villa de Montellano', endowed with a unique prize of €4,000. The selected works will be exhibited at the La Fábrica Hall from 2 to 19 February 2027.
The Town Hall of Montellano has announced the XXXV Painting Competition 'Villa de Montellano', which will take place in 2027 and will award a unique prize of €4,000. The winning work will become part of the municipal heritage, according to the rules published by the council.
Artists, both national and foreign, over the age of 18 may participate, provided that the works are original and created between 2022 and 2026. Each participant must submit the required documentation by 30 November 2026 via the MUNDO ARTI platform.
The competition includes an exhibition of the selected works at the La Fábrica Hall in Montellano, which can be visited from 2 to 19 February 2027. This exhibition will allow the local public and the surrounding area to engage with the artistic proposals competing in this edition.
“The awarded work will become part of the municipal heritage,” the competition rules state.
