The Montellano Town Hall, through the Youth Department, has opened registration for the fifth edition of its Horror Microstory Contest, aimed at young people aged between 14 and 25. The contest awards vouchers of €100 and €50 redeemable at local stationery shops.

Young people from Montellano who wish to participate in the V Horror Microstory Contest can now submit their texts. The submission period started on Tuesday, October 6 and will remain open until October 31, as reported by the Montellano Town Hall through its Youth Department.

This year marks the fifth edition of the contest, which is part of the autumn cultural programme organised by the town council. The competition maintains the usual two categories: one for young people aged 14 to 17 and another for those aged 18 to 25.

As for the prizes, vouchers redeemable at local stationery shops will be awarded. The first prize is worth €100, while the second prize is €50. The complete rules of the contest are available on the municipal website and at the Youth Department's offices.

The initiative aims to promote creative writing among the youth of the municipality, taking advantage of the horror theme closely associated with this autumn season. Interested participants have just under a month to unleash their imagination and submit their stories.
