The brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Love, Los Estudiantes, opened its booth at the Estepa Fair last night. The town hall granted the old Sports Booth space.

The Estepa Fair now has a new booth. The brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Love, Los Estudiantes, opened its doors for the first time in the fairgrounds after receiving the old Sports Booth.

The agreement was reached after several months of meetings between the brotherhood and the Estepa Town Hall, which formalised the transfer a month ago. The mayor, Antonio Jesús Muñoz, participated in the inauguration alongside the elder brother, Eloy Jiménez Castillo.

The event was also attended by the parish priest Manuel Ávalos, who serves as the spiritual director of the brotherhood, and the president of the General Council of Brotherhoods. Ávalos blessed the venue and wished luck to this group of friends that make up the brotherhood.

The delegation included the councillors for Festivities, Manuel Rodríguez; Culture, Ascen Castillo; Equality, Florencio Díaz; and Social Services, Asunción Llamas.

The brotherhood thanked the town hall for the transfer on behalf of its mayor. Muñoz, for his part, acknowledged the work of the municipal administrative technicians in the transfer process and the workers who prepared the venue, which the brotherhood then decorated.

The new booth adds to the offerings of the fair, which is currently celebrating its programme in Estepa.
