The Estadio de La Cartuja hosts the sixth edition of The Evening of the Year this Saturday, featuring ten fights and performances by Juanes, Anuel AA, and Bad Gyal. The City Council has activated a special mobility and cleaning plan.

This Saturday, July 25, the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville will once again be the stage for The Evening of the Year VI, the boxing event between content creators organised by Ibai Llanos. A total of 20 streamers, YouTubers, and influencers will step into the ring to compete in ten fights, five female and five male, in an event that will also feature musical performances from artists such as Juanes, Anuel AA, Yandel, Lucho RK, La Pantera, and Bad Gyal.

Among the participants are two Andalusians: the streamer IlloJuan, from Seville, and the Seville TikToker Fabiana Sevillano. IlloJuan will face TheGrefg, the reigning champion of the Evening, in one of the most anticipated duels of the night, while Fabiana Sevillano will compete in the female category against 'La Parce', president of the Atlético Parceras club in the Queens League Americas.

The event, which will start at 19:00, can be followed both in person and via streaming. In the male category, Viruzz will compete in his fifth Evening against Gero Arias; artists Kidd Keo and Lit Killah will swap the stage for the ring; and Fernanfloo will seek to repeat the victory he achieved in the third edition against Yo Soy Plex, the winner of the fourth. In the female category, Alondrissa will face Angie Velasco; Natalia MX and Clersss; Marta Díaz and Tatiana Kaer; and Rivers and Roro, who are returning after previous editions.

The City Council of Seville has launched a special mobility, security, and cleaning plan to ensure the smooth running of the event and facilitate attendees' movements.

Tussam will reinforce the service on lines 2, C1, and C2, which connect to the Estadio de La Cartuja. These lines stop at Avenida Juan Bautista Muñoz, about 200 meters from the stadium's South entrance, allowing direct access from areas such as Barqueta, Macarena, Ronda Histórica, Puerta Osario, Santa Justa, Los Arcos, Nervión, San Bernardo, Prado de San Sebastián, Los Remedios, Triana, Reina Mercedes, Heliópolis, and San Pablo. In addition to their usual service, 18 reinforcement vehicles will be added from 17:00, with frequencies of six to eight minutes. Lines C1 and C2 will continue to operate until the event concludes, with frequencies of about twelve minutes. The route and stops will remain the same, and standard fares will apply.

As for parking, the Estadio de La Cartuja will set up several areas for attendees. Parking areas P7-North and P7-South will be designated for private vehicles, while other areas will be reserved for accredited vehicles, people with reduced mobility, the organisation, emergencies, and police forces. The parking lots at Sevilla TechPark, located between Avenida Carlos III and Calle Torricelli, will also remain open. It is recommended to plan parking in advance to avoid congestion.

Traffic restrictions will be implemented on several roads around the Estadio de La Cartuja. The affected streets will be José de Gálvez, from the Isla Mágica roundabout (with access allowed for Tussam, clients of the Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento hotel, and accredited users of Isla Mágica until 19:00); Rugby Ciencias, from the Beatriz Manchón roundabout; Avenida Ingeniero Luis Salvador and Juan Bautista Muñoz, along their entire length; as well as the northern sections of Américo Vespucio and Leonardo da Vinci from their intersection with Calle Pitágoras.

Lipasam, the municipal cleaning company, has designed a special plan for the event. A team of 26 workers and eleven vehicles will work before, during, and after the show, focusing on the entrance gates, surrounding areas, and access to La Cartuja. Before the event, bins and containers in the area will be emptied, and after it concludes, a cleaning operation will be carried out with sweeping and pressure washing to eliminate waste and unpleasant odours.

The event will include, as hinted by the organisers, an "Andalusian nod" among the surprises of the night, although no further details have been provided. The Evening of the Year VI is being held in Seville for the second consecutive year, solidifying the city as the venue for this digital phenomenon that combines sport, streaming, and music.
