The La Cartuja Stadium in Seville will host the sixth edition of La Velada del Año on July 25, featuring twenty content creators in ten matches and a musical line-up that includes Juanes, Anuel AA, and Bad Gyal. The organisation promises a special surprise for the Andalusians.

The La Cartuja Stadium in Seville will once again be the venue for La Velada del Año, the boxing event between content creators organised by Ibai Llanos. The sixth edition, scheduled for Saturday, July 25, repeats its location for the second consecutive year and will feature twenty participants spread across ten matches, five female and five male. Among the notable names are the Andalusians IlloJuan and Fabiana Sevillano, alongside a musical line-up headlined by Juanes, Anuel AA, and Bad Gyal.

The event's artist manager, Nani Ocampos, explained that the choice of La Cartuja is due to its capacity and the facilities for set-up, as well as local regulations that allow for a longer show. “The show looks better at night,” Ocampos noted, also highlighting that the timing is ideal for the Latin audience, who connect at that moment. The positive experience from last year, combined with the enthusiasm of the Andalusian public, motivated the repeat of the venue.

In the female category, the Sevillian TikToker Fabiana Sevillano, president of Atlético Parceras from the Queens League Americas, will face an opponent yet to be confirmed. Other participants include Alondrissa, Angie Velasco, Natalia MX, Clersss, Marta Díaz, Tatiana Kaer, Rivers, and Roro. In the male category, veteran Viruzz will compete in his fifth match against Gero Arias; artists Kidd Keo and Lit Killah will leave the stages for the ring; Fernanfloo will attempt to repeat his victory from the third edition against Yo Soy Plex, the winner of the fourth; and one of the most anticipated duels will be IlloJuan against TheGrefg, with the Malagueño looking to dethrone the reigning champion.

Ocampos emphasised that from the start of the organisation, the participation of IlloJuan and Fabiana was considered, trusting in the support of the local audience. “The success of La Velada lies in the connection of the communities with the creators,” she stated. Additionally, she highlighted the rise of Andalusia in the content creation world: “Many good creators are likely to emerge from Andalusia.”

This year, the event will feature a 360-degree stage that will move during the musical performances. The organisation has hinted that there will be more surprises during the evening. The musical line-up includes Juanes, Anuel AA, Yandel, Lucho RK, La Pantera, and Bad Gyal. According to Ocampos, the goal is to bring together talents from various genres and generations to create a family-friendly show. “We are attentive to musical trends, emerging talents, and the tastes of our audience,” she added.

Regarding the Andalusian nod, Ocampos clarified that there are no confirmed Andalusian artists on the official line-up yet, but there will be a surprise that pays homage to the region. Last year, the Sevillian group Los del Río had a similar moment. “Andalusia is always present in the planning of the event,” she assured.

La Velada del Año has established itself as a powerful communication platform at both national and international levels, with audiences exceeding nine million connected devices. For many artists, performing at the event is an opportunity to gain exposure, return to the stage, announce tours, or release singles. The organisation continues to work on the project, although no details about future editions have been revealed.

Tickets for La Velada del Año VI are available on the official event website. Stadium access will open at 17:00, and the matches will begin at 19:00. It is recommended to arrive early to avoid crowds.
