The programme includes as its central act the solemn religious function and the procession of the patron saint, which will be accompanied by a music band. At the same time, the traditional 'Fire Bulls' will illuminate the streets of the municipality during the festival nights, one of the most anticipated sights for locals and visitors alike.
The morning flowered wake-up call, the kissing of the Virgin's hand, musical performances, sports events and a fireworks display complete a programme designed for all audiences. The popular music festival and the local gastronomic offerings will be other attractions of these days.
The municipal delegate for Festivities, Diego Perejón, has presented this year's festival poster, an event that took place at the Provincial House of the Seville Provincial Council. During his speech, Perejón extended an open invitation to all citizens of the province to visit Benacazón and share the experience with the locals.
The poster, designed by Bruno Halcón, recovers one of the most representative historical images of the Virgen de las Nieves, reinterpreted with a contemporary graphic language. The image places the patron saint at the centre of a composition that, according to its author, pays homage to the history, devotion and identity of the people of Benacazón.
The Seville Provincial Council has collaborated in the edition of the poster through the Provincial Printing House and hosted its presentation at the Provincial House. The event was also attended by the first deputy mayor, Manuel Ortiz Soriano, and representatives of the Commission of Our Lady of the Crowned Snow, whose spokesperson, Álvaro Martín Carmona, supported the invitation to enjoy the festivities.
