The film follows an American actor who, while working for a Japanese 'rental family' agency, finds unexpected purpose by playing substitute roles for strangers. The film explores the boundaries between acting and reality and has been well received by critics for its sensitive portrayal of human relationships.
On Sunday, July 26, La voz de Hind will be screened, a documentary by Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania, who has been nominated for an Oscar twice. The film, awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival, reconstructs the desperate plea for help from Hind Rajab, a six-year-old girl trapped in a car under Israeli fire in Gaza on January 29, 2024.
