Emasesa will modernise the supply and sanitation networks of Plaza Compostela, in Triana, starting from August 10. The works will last about three months and will not interrupt the supply.

The City Council of Seville, through the metropolitan company Emasesa, will undertake the comprehensive renewal of the water supply and sanitation networks in Plaza Compostela, in the Triana district. The works will begin on August 10 and will last approximately three months.

The project has a budget of €265,208 and will be carried out without interrupting the water supply to residents. According to Emasesa, a temporary polyethylene network will be installed to ensure continuity of service while the current pipe is replaced.

In addition to the new pipeline, all valves, connections, and elements of the existing network will be renewed. In the sanitation system, the pipe will be replaced with a stoneware one of the same diameter, and wells and drains will be restored.

To minimise inconvenience, the works will be carried out in three phases. The first will affect Plaza Compostela itself; the second will affect the left side of Leiria Street at the height of Evangelista; and the third will affect the left side of Leiria next to Lucía de Jesús.

During the works, vehicular traffic will experience occasional narrowings on the affected streets. As for pedestrians, fences and walkways will be placed to maintain access to homes and businesses.

This intervention is part of the city's supply network modernisation plan, which aims to improve the efficiency and quality of service in the neighbourhoods.
