The sporting management of Sevilla FC, led by José Ignacio Navarro, faces the challenge of covering the goal deficit after Akor Adams' departure. Isaac Romero, the only pure striker, has not scored since the derby at La Cartuja.

Sevilla FC has been left goal-less. The departure of Akor Adams, combined with Isaac Romero's drought —who hasn't found the net since the derby against Betis at La Cartuja— has left the Nervión team with an offensive deficit of nearly twenty goals. This is the figure that the sporting management, led by José Ignacio Navarro, must cover before the summer transfer market closes.

The Seville team has played three pre-season matches and has only scored one goal, and that was from a penalty. This record raises alarms at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Sports City, where they are already working against the clock to strengthen the attack. Staying in La Liga cannot become a struggle again, as it did last season.

With Isaac Romero as the only specific centre-forward, Sevilla needs to bring in at least two attackers with goal-scoring ability. The sought profile is that of a proven player, preferably in La Liga, who can contribute between 10 and 15 goals per season. Additionally, the option of a promising young player to complete the rotation is being considered.

The sporting management is handling several names, although the priority is to close a deal as soon as possible so that the new signing can integrate into the team's dynamics before the league starts. The club does not rule out going to the international market if viable options are not found in Spain.

Meanwhile, the fans are closely watching the movements at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. The demand to compete in the upper part of the table requires not failing in the reinforcements. Sevilla FC, which has already made several signings in other positions, is now focusing all its efforts on the offensive area.

Time is running out. The market closes at the end of August and the team needs goals. José Ignacio Navarro has the mission of finding them.
