The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) has activated alerts for lane closures and restrictions affecting the A-4, AP-4, SE-30 and other secondary roads. Most of the interruptions are due to ongoing works, although there is also a section closed due to damage to the road surface.
Works in Carmona: Total Closure on the A-8100 and Lane on the A-4
In the municipality of Carmona, the A-8100 remains closed to traffic between kilometre points 2.0 and 11.0 in the increasing direction, due to works. This incident affects all lanes and forces drivers to seek alternative routes.
Additionally, on the A-4, at kilometre point 520.6, also in Carmona, a lane is closed due to works. The restriction is located at an exit and affects the increasing direction.
According to the DGT, the works on the A-8100 will continue for the next few hours, so it is recommended to avoid the area and use signposted diversions.
The AP-4 and SE-30: Two Conflict Points
On the AP-4 motorway, drivers encounter two issues with closed lanes between kilometre points 61.2 and 105.3, and between 61.6 and 13.0. Although the direction is not specified, the DGT warns of possible delays in these sections.
The SE-30, the ring road of Seville, concentrates several incidents. There are two closures in the directions at kilometre points 20.1 and 20.2, as well as two closed lanes between points 21.8 and 20.5. Additionally, between kilometre points 9.5 and 12.5, there is a restriction for vehicles over 20 tonnes due to works, affecting both directions.
Trucks and heavy vehicles travelling on the SE-30 will need to find alternative routes to avoid the restricted area, as recommended by the DGT.
The SE-225, Closed Due to Damage on the Road Between Carmona and Marchena
One of the most notable incidents is the total closure of the SE-225 between kilometre points 12.5 and 14.1, affecting the municipalities of Carmona and Marchena. The road remains closed to traffic in both directions due to damage to the road surface, according to the DGT.
This incident is the only one not related to scheduled works, but rather to a defect in the roadway that has forced the complete interruption of traffic. Local residents will need to use diversions via local roads until the section is repaired.
The A-4, with Diversions and Width Restrictions
On the A-4, between kilometre points 531.9 and 534.0, the DGT has activated two alerts for route diversion and a restriction on the passage of vehicles wider than one metre. This measure affects both directions and aims to ensure safety during the works.
Drivers of wide vehicles, such as vans or trucks, should exercise extreme caution or seek alternatives to avoid the restricted section.
The A-8005, Closed in Seville City
In the city of Seville, the A-8005 remains closed between kilometre points 0.0 and 2.2 due to works. The incident affects all lanes in both directions, so drivers are advised to avoid this road and use alternative access to the capital.
The DGT reminds that all incidents, except for the closure of the SE-225, are related to maintenance or improvement works on the road network. It is expected that the restrictions will remain in place throughout the day, so it is advisable to plan journeys in advance and check real-time traffic status.
