The Monasterio de Consolación will bring together public vocational training centres from the province of Seville and innovative companies. Companies can register until September 21 to participate in the meeting.
The Education Department of the Junta de Andalucía and the Utrera Town Hall have organised the event 'FP a Punto. Andalusian Innovation Day in Vocational Training', which will take place on September 24 at the Monasterio de Consolación in the Seville locality.
The meeting, which will run from 11:00 to 13:30, will gather public vocational training educational centres from the province of Seville and companies linked to the development of innovation projects. The aim is to foster connections between the educational sector and the business community, share innovative experiences, and open new avenues for collaboration.
Under the slogan 'Energising Vocational Training and Business: Innovating in Talent', the programme will include an institutional welcome, discussions on real experiences of innovation in vocational training, collaboration between centres and companies, and knowledge transfer. Organisational aspects of the innovation project call will also be addressed.
The day will conclude with a networking space to encourage the exchange of experiences and the generation of synergies among participants.
The delegate for Training and Employment, Isabel González Blanquero, has highlighted the significance of Utrera once again hosting this initiative.
"This is already the third occasion on which our city becomes the meeting point for Vocational Training, which demonstrates the commitment we are making to bring training closer to the real needs of businesses and to create spaces where educational centres and the business community can meet and work together"
González added that the goal is for Utrera to "continue to establish itself as a benchmark for Vocational Training," a field she considers essential for preparing the talent demanded by productive sectors.
