The Mairena del Alcor Town Hall is carrying out the comprehensive repair of the roof of the Municipal Nursery School in Huerta Pablo, work that began on September 9 and will finish in the coming weeks, before the first rains.
The Mairena del Alcor Municipal Nursery School, located in the Huerta Pablo area, is currently undergoing a complete roof renovation. The work started on September 9, right after the beginning of the school year, and the Town Hall expects it to conclude in the coming weeks.
The intervention includes the repair of walls, plastering, the installation of asphalt sheets, and the fitting of insulation panels. The aim is to definitively resolve the leaks detected last year.
The councillors for Works, Services, and Education, Ana Guillén, José Romero, and Isabel Marín, have supervised the work. According to Guillén, the work does not interfere with educational activities or traffic in the area.
"The intervention is being carried out from an independent side access, so it does not interfere with educational activities nor does it require workers to pass through the inside of the centre," noted the councillor for Works.
The Rumaiquilla street remains open to traffic to ensure smooth access for families to both the nursery school and the Manuel Romero Arregui school.
With this action, the Town Council hopes to leave the roof completely renovated and ready for the arrival of the first rains, thus avoiding the recurring leakage problems from previous years.
