The Town Hall of Mairena del Alcor has begun the works for a new children's water play park in the Tierno Galván Park, with an investment of around €300,000 co-financed by the Diputación de Sevilla.
The construction of the new children's water play park in the Tierno Galván Park of Mairena del Alcor is already underway. The project has an approximate investment of €300,000, co-financed by the Diputación de Sevilla through the Plan 107, as reported by the Town Hall of Mairena del Alcor.
The works include the remodeling of the area, the preparation of the land, and the installation of hydraulic and play facilities. The intervention will transform this sector of the park into an interactive space adapted for children's leisure.
The mayor of Mairena del Alcor, Juanma López, has visited the works and explained that the initiative responds to the great reception that the water park in Alconchel received.
“After the success of the water play area in Alconchel, this space, which is much larger, will also feature a much larger area that we hope will be to the liking and enjoyment of all the children in our locality.”
The Town Council has chosen Tierno Galván Park because it is a larger and more accessible environment, which will allow for a greater number of users and the installation of larger attractions.
The citizen demand following the launch of the water games in Alconchel has been the main reason for expanding the family leisure offer in the municipality. The works, which have already begun, will continue to be carried out in the coming months until the new facility is completed.
