The Salvador Dalí Street in the northern area of Alcalá de Guadaíra is undergoing a complete transformation. The mayor, Ana Isabel Jiménez, has visited the works to check the progress of a project that will completely change the appearance of this street.
The project includes the renewal of sanitation infrastructure, a new public lighting system with LED technology, and improvements to accessibility and pedestrian pathways. More green areas, new urban furniture, and water fountains are also being established.
Jiménez explained that this is a "comprehensive renovation that will completely renew its appearance and improve its use and enjoyment by the residents."
"We are committed to a more accessible, sustainable public space designed for coexistence and gathering, following the city model we want for Alcalá."
The mayor has assured that the works are progressing well and that "very soon we will be able to enjoy this new space." Residents of the northern area will thus see a renewed key axis for their daily lives in the neighbourhood.
