The Riberas del Guadaíra Auditorium will host Pablo López's concert this Friday, September 25th, with 5,000 seats and doors opening at 20:00. The City Council and the Provincial Council are coordinating the setup and access.
The esplanade of the Riberas del Guadaíra Auditorium will host the concert of Pablo López this Friday, September 25th, as part of the Patio+Metrópolis Festival organised by the Seville Provincial Council. Setup and adaptation work at the venue has been progressing since early morning, and the mayor of Alcalá de Guadaíra, Ana Isabel Jiménez, supervised the state of the facilities and services planned on Wednesday.
The capacity will be 5,000 seats, including those reserved for people with reduced mobility. The Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council and the Provincial Council are coordinating the final details of a plan that will cover everything from access control to post-event cleaning of the venue.
Although the concert will start at 22:00, doors will open at 20:00. From that time, access control, medical and security personnel, toilets, and catering services will be operational until midnight. The bar will also open at 20:00, and DJ La Chica Sin Sombrero will entertain the audience while they wait for the performance to begin.
To expedite entry, 12 control lanes will be set up. The organisers recommend that attendees arrive early to avoid crowds, especially since the roundabout leading to the auditorium will be closed to traffic at 19:00.
Regarding parking, the area adjacent to the auditorium will be reserved for accredited persons with reduced mobility. The rest of the public will have access to several parking areas around Mar Mediterráneo, the Puente del Dragón area, and the San Francisco-Tren de los Panaderos area. The first two are the most accessible for those arriving from Seville and Dos Hermanas, while the third is intended for access from Utrera and Morón.
The City Council recommends walking for greater convenience. If using a vehicle, the planned access routes are Avenida Mar Mediterráneo (exit 9 of the A-92), the tram parking at Zacatín, Cabalgata Reyes Silos street, Puente Guardián del Castillo park (exit 8 of the A-376 towards the A-392), and the San Francisco-Tren de los Panaderos area, which can be reached from the A-376 and the Alcalá-Dos Hermanas road, or from the A-92 and the Alcalá-Utrera road.
The operation also includes medical and safety evacuation routes, the installation of toilets in various areas, waste containers, and a special cleaning plan before and after the event by Aira Gestión Ambiental. Coordination between both institutions aims to ensure the venue is ready for regular use the following day.
"Attendees are requested to arrive with sufficient time to avoid crowds," stated the Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council.
The concert is part of the programming for the Patio+Metrópolis Festival, an initiative by the Seville Provincial Council that features performances across various municipalities in the province. For the residents of Alcalá de Guadaíra, this event will represent a significant influx of people in the auditorium area during the afternoon and evening on Friday.
