The second edition of the Plaza Sound Lebrija festival begins tonight in the Plaza de España with performances by Aslándticos, Lucía de la Puerta, Silera and DJ Chema Martínez. The Town Hall is providing toilet facilities, ambulance services, and special parking.
The Plaza de España in Lebrija hosts tonight, July 31, the first of two days of the Plaza Sound, the live music festival organised by the Youth Delegation of the Lebrija Town Hall. The event, returning for the second consecutive year, is aimed at young audiences but is open to all citizens, and will celebrate a second night of concerts on August 28.
The line-up for this first day is headlined by the Cordoban band Aslándticos, who will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of their first album in 2026. With a proposal that fuses reggae, flamenco, pop, and funk, the group is embarking on a new national tour coinciding with the release of their latest album, making their performance in Lebrija one of the highlights of the musical summer in the province.
Alongside them will perform Lucía de la Puerta, one of the most prominent emerging artists on digital platforms. After releasing her album A lo callao, she has accumulated millions of streams and has established herself as one of the most promising voices in the current scene. The programme is completed by the local rock band Silera, showcasing local talent, and the set by DJ Chema Martínez, who will open the night.
The Youth Delegate, Juan Antonio Romero, highlighted that the festival aims to offer quality musical programming for young people while also creating a meeting space for all citizens. "We want it to be a great celebration of community and for Lebrija to enjoy two unforgettable nights of live music," he stated at the event's presentation.
To ensure the comfort of attendees, the Lebrija Town Hall has set up a special service provision. Adapted public toilets will be installed on Corredera and Ignacio Halcón streets, along with WC modules on Trinidad, Antón Pérez, and Sevilla streets. The medical service will have an ambulance located on Trinidad street, and the Public Parking of San Francisco will remain open until 4:00 AM.
The parking lots on Eduardo Dato and Paseo de los Estudiantes will be available 24 hours. On the other hand, Corredera, Ignacio Halcón, and Cataño streets will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event, so drivers are advised to plan alternative routes and residents should anticipate mobility restrictions in the centre.
The second day of the Plaza Sound Lebrija will take place on August 28 with performances by DJ Kalo, Las Migas, and Diván Du Don. With this programme, the Town Hall reaffirms its commitment to a diverse and quality musical offering, once again turning the town centre into the main stage of summer for residents and visitors.
