The Town Hall of Lebrija is organising a new session of the educational leisure programme 'Soletes en la Luna' this Wednesday, with music and painting workshops and the creation of a collective mural.
The municipal educational leisure programme 'Soletes en la Luna' continues its journey through the neighbourhoods of Lebrija. The second session will take place this Wednesday, 23rd July, in the children's park located next to CEIP Josefa Gavala, on Avenida Miguel de Unamuno, from 20:30 to 22:30 hours.
The activity will be inspired by the waxing gibbous moon, the lunar phase that gives this day its name. Attendees will be able to participate in artistic workshops of music and painting, as well as collaborate in the creation of a large collective mural. The aim is to promote artistic expression, imagination, and teamwork in a convivial atmosphere.
The delegate for Childhood, Paula García, has stated that this initiative "brings quality activities to all corners of Lebrija, promoting equal opportunities in access to educational leisure and reinforcing values such as cooperation, respect, creativity, inclusion, and teamwork."
The programme is primarily aimed at children aged 3 to 12, young people aged 13 to 16, and families, although participation is open to all citizens until the capacity for each space is reached.
'Soletes en la Luna' was created with the aim of bringing healthy leisure alternatives to the different neighbourhoods of Lebrija, fostering neighbourly coexistence and the positive use of public spaces during the summer. Squares and parks thus become meeting places for young and old with free activities in the evening hours.
After this day, the programme will continue with two new dates: on 6th August, in the Bulevar Children's Park, coinciding with the Last Quarter, and on 20th August, in the Plaza May Children's Park, during the First Quarter phase.
With this initiative, the Town Hall of Lebrija continues to promote actions aimed at children and families, encouraging public spaces to be places of meeting, coexistence, and participation during the summer.
