The Equality delegation of the Lebrija Town Hall has launched the 2026/2027 course of its Occupational Training Workshops with 679 registered individuals, mostly women. The high demand has necessitated draws and waiting lists in several groups.
The Auditorium of the Youth Centre hosted the official opening of the 2026/2027 course of the Occupational Training Workshops organised by the Equality delegation of the Lebrija Town Hall this Tuesday, 15th September. The event was attended by the mayor, Pepe Barroso; the Equality delegate, María Labrador; municipal staff and the team of instructors who will be teaching the classes.
The number of participants has reached 679 individuals, the majority being women, a response that has required draws in some groups and the opening of waiting lists for certain activities. The programme has over three decades of history in the locality.
Barroso highlighted during his speech that these workshops not only serve to acquire knowledge and skills but also function as spaces for meeting, coexistence, and healthy leisure where residents share hobbies and expand their social circles.

The offer for this course combines ten permanent workshops with four intensive proposals. Among the permanent workshops are Sevillanas dancing, textile decoration, Pilates, yoga, theatre, tai chi chi kung, meditation, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, and scrapbooking.
The intensive courses, on the other hand, include self-makeup, flamenco body form, creative mobile photography, and salsa. The variety of disciplines covers interests related to learning, physical activity, and creativity.
