The San Juan de Aznalfarache Youth Centre has scheduled its autumn workshops from Monday to Friday. Activities range from academic support to outings in Seville and the municipality itself.
The Youth Centre of San Juan de Aznalfarache has published its autumn workshop offerings, with a different activity for each day of the week. Monday kicks off with the workshop I Take Care of Myself, from 17:30 to 19:00, focused on wellbeing and self-care.
This session covers life orientation, stress management, healthy relationships, and the pressure of social media on self-esteem. The format aims to be approachable and dynamic, providing tools for everyday life.
Tuesday, from 17:00 to 20:00, features the Academic Support programme, aimed at students from 1st to 4th year of Secondary Education. The Mathematics and Science classes are divided into two slots, from 17:00 to 18:30 for 3rd and 4th years and from 18:30 to 20:00 for 1st and 2nd years. In Language and English, the distribution is reversed.
Registration for academic support requires being enrolled in Secondary Education, as indicated in the programme. Primary school students or those in other levels are excluded from this activity.
Wednesday, from 17:00 to 19:00, the workshop I Create and I Tell covers four areas: mobile photography, video, podcasting, and creativity for social media content. In the case of the podcast, participants choose topics, write scripts, record, and edit audio.
Thursday, from 17:30 to 19:00, the workshop I Manage addresses daily life: day organisation, household economy, official procedures, simple cooking, and clothing customisation.
Fridays change format with I Move, dedicated to outings and experiences. There are two modalities: outings in Seville to learn about its history, art, and hidden gems, and outings in San Juan de Aznalfarache to discover the heritage and spaces of the municipality itself.
