The Hacienda Ulloa Exhibition Hall in Palomares del Río will host the exhibition 'Deep Space: Light-Years of Photographs' by astrophotographer Miguel Gutiérrez from September 16 to 20, 2026. The opening will be on Wednesday the 16th at 20:00 hours.

The astrophotographer Miguel Gutiérrez will bring to Palomares del Río around twenty images of the cosmos captured after dozens of hours of exposure. The exhibition, titled 'Deep Space: Light-Years of Photographs', can be visited at the Hacienda Ulloa Exhibition Hall from September 16 to 20, 2026.

The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the Palomares Habitable Area and combines photography with scientific dissemination. Each of the 20 panels includes brief educational explanations to help interpret the regions of the universe depicted.

The opening and informational talk about the content will take place on Wednesday, September 16 at 20:00 hours. Visiting hours will be from 18:00 to 20:00 hours on Thursday and Friday, and from 11:00 to 13:00 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free.

The images are the result of precision optical work and the accumulation of light over numerous sessions, allowing the discovery of distant landscapes of the universe that escape everyday sight. The exhibition aims to spark scientific curiosity among the residents of Palomares del Río and visitors.
