The Town Hall of Palomares del Río and YMPETU Formación Deportiva offer the Leisure and Free Time Monitor course, subsidised by 75%, for 100 euros instead of 400. Classes start on 16 October 2026.
Young residents of Palomares del Río who wish to obtain the leisure and free time monitor qualification can now register. The training is promoted by the Town Hall of Palomares del Río and YMPETU Formación Deportiva, with the council covering 75% of the tuition fees.
Thanks to this subsidy, the course costs 100 euros compared to the original price of 400 euros. The programme begins on 16 October 2026 and combines 150 hours of theory with 160 hours of practical training to be held in municipal facilities.
The qualification obtained is the official one from the Andalusian Youth Institute (IAJ), a valid document for working in camps, extracurricular activities, youth animation, or play centres, among other fields.
To access the course, three requirements must be met: being over 16 years old, holding a Graduado en ESO certificate, and being registered in Palomares del Río. Registrations are managed through the website www.ympetu.net and information can also be requested at the phone numbers 664 662 593 and 622 792 358.
The announcement comes with the course already on the calendar, as classes begin in October. Those interested in obtaining a job in the educational leisure sector have until the start of the training to secure their place.
