The Palomares Habitable Area is organising a tribute concert to 20th-century Andalusian poets on Friday, October 2 at 20:00 in the Carlos Álvarez Nóvoa Municipal Theatre. Tickets are available at the Manuel Casado Moreno Municipal Library until full capacity is reached.
The Granero Musical Association will be responsible for setting to music the verses of some of the most recognised Andalusian poets of the 20th century. The event is on Friday, October 2 at 20:00 hours in the Carlos Álvarez Nóvoa Municipal Theatre of Palomares del Río.
The repertoire includes songs that are part of Andalusian cultural memory, such as “Andaluces de Jaén”, “Verde que te quiero verde”, “La leyenda del tiempo”, or “Habaneras de Cádiz”. The ensemble combines voices and instruments to traverse pieces that have accompanied several generations.
The concert, promoted by the Palomares Habitable Area, will last approximately 70 minutes. The proposal unites poetry, music, and emotion in a format designed for all audiences.
Tickets are already available at the Manuel Casado Moreno Municipal Library, during its usual opening hours, and will be distributed until the theatre's capacity is reached. The Town Hall of Palomares del Río reminds that seats are not reserved and it is recommended to arrive early.
