The Gines Town Hall is launching the second edition of its Flamenco Sewing Workshop, aimed at young people aged 15 to 35. Classes will be held from October to May at the Youth Centre, with two levels and a price of 10 euros per month.

The Youth Centre of Gines will host the second edition of the Flamenco Sewing Workshop from next October until May, a training initiative promoted by the Youth delegation of the Gines Town Hall. The activity is reserved for residents aged 15 to 35.

The programme is divided into two levels: Beginner and Advanced. Sessions will take place every Wednesday. The beginner group will run from 16:30 to 19:00, while the advanced group will be from 19:00 to 21:30.

The cost of the activity is 10 euros per month. Participants will learn to design, draft patterns, and sew their own flamenco dresses from start to finish, working through the entire creative and technical process of the garment.

The training combines creativity, technique, and tradition to help young people become familiar with a craft closely linked to Andalusian culture. This initiative adds to the regular programming of the Youth Centre, which mixes training, leisure, and popular culture.

Those interested can obtain more information at the Youth Centre of Gines or through municipal channels. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
