The equestrian facility Una Pará in Gines will host for the first time the Andalusian Championship of Young Horses in Vaquera Dressage, an event that will bring together the horses destined to shape the future of this discipline in the region.

The competition will take place on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, with sessions starting both days at 1:00 PM. More than 70 horses from the 4, 5, and 6-year-old categories, as well as the intermediate category, are expected to participate, competing to demonstrate their skill in one of the most deeply rooted disciplines of Andalusian equestrian tradition.

The event is organised by the Andalusian Equestrian Federation and will be held under the Vaquera Dressage regulations of the Spanish Equestrian Federation. Results can be checked on the website vaquera.studbook.es.

The event promises a spectacle that combines skill, passion, and respect for the animal, and provides a boost to the equestrian offerings in the Aljarafe region, bringing together riders and breeders from across Andalusia in Gines.

The top three finishers in each category will receive cash prizes. Registrations are already open and can be formalised through the website of the Andalusian Equestrian Federation. For more information, interested parties can call 687 400 761.

The arrival of a regional championship in Gines is an incentive for local fans of vaquera dressage, who will be able to enjoy up close the level of the best young horses in Andalusia without leaving the province of Seville.
